The next local project is about to start!
Yes a new project for my copywriting skills, this time we are working the SEO copy into a new whey protein product website, it will be an interesting assignment because this is a very competitive industry.
After my success with the last project which saw the hog roast company go from new website and domain name to position 4 on page 1 in Google for the term- hog roast hire, I felt I needed a stronger challenge. That was just three months from start to finish and the results were unbelievable considering we used a brand new domain name.
Whey Protein
So the new project is a whey protein website that will sell online, firstly as usual the domain name has been bought and then I have started to populate this domain with quality content whilst the e-commerce platform is created. The crucial part here is to ensure that the current content remains accessible after the new website goes live and to avoid deleted pages and redirects that are not needed.
Good Copywriting and SEO Planning
This is the crux of a good strategy since most people will not consider the damage done when a site gets established in Google and then wholesale page migration takes place. Even using the customary 301 redirects will be less effective than creating the right content platform in the first place.
Good copywriting will be the spring to a fast track in search results as it is the pivot that pulls together code and linking, this process has been successful now in many of the projects I have worked on. Copywriting with a very high level of SEO knowledge is a definate advantage and so the strategy for linking must be aligned with the deployment of content.
It is irrefutable because the proof is another successful assignment where a hog roast company went from a new domain name to page 1 for generic search results in just 3 months.
So back to the new project, the business of sports nutrition is growing and so is the competition, the only was the get ahead is through clever marketing and especially when a new domain name is going to have to play catchup on domain names that have been established for a number of years.
